Even those of us who thought we knew Peter probably learnt something more about him last week when he introduced himself to the club after a membership of almost 34 years. A little family history, some "plans" for his retirement, and some milestones (good and bad) all contributed to an interesting and enlightening "Who Am I".
The annual Cromwell wine tour is on the weekend of 20/21 February. We're looking to mix things up this year with all new wineries to enjoy. As always, its all about fun and fellowship in the Central Otago sun.

Supporting Otago Youth Adventure Trust
Incoming Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta urged members to become more involved in service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other peopleās lives, but also our own.
Mehta, a member of the Rotary Club of Calcutta-Mahanagar, West Bengal, India, revealed the 2021-22 presidential theme, Serve to Change Lives, to incoming district governors on 1 February during the Rotary International Assembly, held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Duty Roster Coordinator
To allow Cameron to prepare for his forthcoming role as President we require a volunteer to take over the task of maintaining the Duty Roster for club meetings. In the past a spreadsheet has been used but this is not essential (pen & paper would work just as well!). Main duties are to extend the roster each month; and email reminders to the duty team each week.

Camp Quality is a charity that provides camps and other activities for children, aged 5 to 16 years old, living with cancer.
Our programmes provide a stress-free and caring environment for the children where fun and friendship are combined with achievable challenges - allowing the children to ājust be kidsā. Camp Quality passionately believes in the power of fun to help children and their families overcome the challenges that living with cancer can bring. Families also get a much-needed break and the opportunity to spend time with other siblings while their child is at camp.
Camp Quality Southās region is from Ashburton to Stewart Island. Each year we take about 40 children to Queenstown for a week-long camp. Each Camper has a dedicated buddy for the week and we have a number of other staff that support the camp in various ways. Altogether around 70 adult volunteers attend camp, giving up a week of their time to do so.
Camp Quality is a charity that relies on the grants and donations from the public to continue our good work. Donations can be made through the Camp Quality website at www.campquality.org.nz.
