Stories
Last Weeks Speaker - Cheryl Adams
Cheryl shared her personal story of her journey to become CEO of world leading computer graphics company Animation Research Ltd, together with some of her thoughts on team work and leadership, and some of the companies innovative achievements. The cricket animations seemed to be particularly interesting to some of our club members! Current developments are focusing on the use of Virtual Reality technology in the teaching/learning sector.

Save the Day (24 September)
Save the day!
A heads up that we will be carrying out a club service project such as food collection or repacking food to support the food banks on Sat 24 September. This is part of a Rotary Day of Action, please save the date and volunteer for an hour or more that day!
Photos Wanted!
As we are now moving towards the production phase of the centenary publication, we are calling for good quality (sharp, in focus, high resolution) images of club activities from the past 25 years. Ideally the images you submit will have a descriptor, be dated, and have the names of the people featured in the image. If they are not digital, Katie can have them scanned during a Rotary meeting and returned to you immediately.
Think, fun activities, members being awarded for service, fellowship events, conference pics - anything that is engaging and demonstrates what we do best.
Thank you
Craig and Katie
Incognito Art!!
A committee has begun to organise an Incognito Art fundraiser for club projects including the centennial projects at Orokonui Ecosanctuary and Rotary Park .
They are seeking donations of A4 artworks which will be displayed and sold anonymously - Some of the artists may be high profile professionals, some may be semi professional , e.g may belong to an art club, some may be well known public figures, but not known for being an artist, and some of the artists could be anyone! Do you have any artistic contacts who you could approach regarding donating a piece of their work? A4 customwood "blanks" are available from Brian Daniels bdandcher@hotmail.com or artists may supply their own A4 canvas.
Artists should  have their work back to the committee by late September / early October and the actual event will run 7-11th November to be held in the Dunedin community gallery, 20 Princes St.
